Mid-Hudson Regional Economic Development Council
“Work. Life. Balance.”
New York State’s Regional Councils were put in place in 2011 to redesign the state’s approach to economic development. The initiative empowers communities, businesses, and members of each region to develop strategic plans specifically tailored to their region’s unique strengths in order to create jobs and support economic growth. The goal was to attract businesses to the Mid-Hudson Region, thereby creating jobs and improving the economic vitality of the area, as well as establishing the MHREDC as an authority to guide the economic future of the Mid-Hudson Region. A brand was developed to properly differentiate them from other economic development programs in neighboring states and throughout the US. An over-arching campaign was created to showcase the Council’s brand and key initiatives while developing a broad appeal across a large audience.
